Important Reminders!

Pre-Register! Why?

• Save money! 
• Only those who pre-register are guaranteed a t-shirt. All t-shirts will be distributed on Saturday regardless of which day you play in pool.
• If the tournament fills up, there won’t be any room for walk ons!

Walk Ons

• If you have not registered but want to play, head to the committee tent on the beach at 11:30am on Friday morning and/or 8:30am Saturday morning to register as a walk-on We can’t guarantee all walk-ons will be able to play due to space constrictions.
• Walk-ons will be placed on teams once no-shows are reported and verified, typically one hour after the tournament starts. Every effort will be made to place everyone on a team.
• Walk-on price is $60.

No Taking Someone Else’s Spot!

• If you play in the tournament under somebody else’s name, you AND your partner will be immediately disqualified and banned from future tournaments.
• If you know someone who is registered but not coming, you may NOT take their spot – all no-shows will be filled with walk-ons.
• Anyone who is not registered will have to walk on either Friday or Saturday, NO EXCEPTIONS. We will do our best to get everyone in the tournament (space permitting).

Check In

• FRIDAY play begins at 12PM.
• SATURDAY play begins at 9AM.
• Find your court assignment posted on the board. Go to your court to meet your partner. If they are not there, put an X by your name so players will know you have arrived. If your partner is a no-show, a replacement player will be assigned. Follow the directions on the court envelope and listen for announcements regarding timing. Do not bring the pool sheet to the committee tent until an announcement is made.
• You do NOT need to play your games in order – if two teams are on the court ready to go – start playing!
• You do NOT need to check in to play! 

Cancellations

• If you are already registered and you are no longer able to come, please email tourney@mexvolleyball.com to let us know.
• There are no refunds. All proceeds are given to charity.

Travel

• Passport, U.S. Passport Card or Enhanced Driver’s License is REQUIRED
